Roodepoort Athletics Club: Weekly Club Run Schedule

Roodepoort Athletics Club prides itself on being a supportive community for all runners, regardless of their pace. Here is a quick breakdown of the club’s weekly runs hosted by our road capatain, Judge Mongale:

  • Monday: 5km and strength training

  • Tuesday: Koppies/ Hill Training

  • Wednesday: Time Trials (5km & 8km)

  • Thursday: 10Km

  • Friday: Rest

  • Saturday: Long Run - Two groups: Early Birds (5h00, shorter distance; no water points) & Usual Suspects (6h30).

  • Sunday: Rest or Afternoon Recovery Run

Please remember to bring your own hydration to club runs; while water points are provided during Saturday long runs, it is advisable to have your own supply just in case.
